Frequently Asked Questions

 Mediums

Andy has become well-versed in many different mediums.  His works of art range from acrylic on canvas to sculptures of salvaged bicycle remnants.    Many of his original paintings are acrylic and acrylic washes on heavy cold press, canvas boards or stretched canvas.  He has also worked a great deal with oils and exterior laytex paint.  The barn door from the old farmstead or the occasional animal hide often find their way into his studio as well.

Restoration projects have always peaked Andy's interest.  Several classic car restorations can be found in his portfolio, as well as most recently a 1920's water wagon.

A number of additional mediums Andy has worked with:

  • Laquers
  • Wood carvings
  • Airbrush
  • Corporate graphics
  • Decals
  • Large scale murals

Andy is always coming up with new and innovative ways to showcase his art.  If you have an original concept in mind, Andy would love to discuss the possibilities of bringing your new idea to life.
